Fine Arts Chamber Players

Fine Arts Chamber Players (FACP) enriches and enhances the quality of life for North Texas area residents, especially families and children, through free concerts of classical music and educational performances. FACP was founded by people who believe music is vital to life and share the vision and desire to make professionally-played music accessible to everyone. Since its inception in 1981, the organization has created a community of music by serving over 250,000 children and performing for over 540,000 people in North Texas.

Hallam Family Concerts are held one Saturday afternoon a month from October through May. Traditionally staged at the Horchow Auditorium in the Dallas Museum of Art, the 2020-21 season is online. Concerts start at 3 p.m.

Every Sunday afternoon during the month of July, the Basically Beethoven Festival is produced. Typically held at Moody Performance Hall in the Arts District, the 2020 Festival was entirely online. Concerts open at 2:30 p.m. with a Rising Star Recital followed by the 3 p.m. Feature Performance.

All of our concerts feature local professional musicians in varied, creative chamber music programs.
