The center also provides ongoing support and natural horsemship training to adopters and equine enthusiasts. Company Overview DDHRAC is owned and operated by the Humane Society of the United States and is located on a land grant provided by the Black Beauty Ranch. Description Under endless blue skies of east Texas, horses rescued from cruelty cases, are given a new life and a chance to find a forever home; each receives a customized rehabiliation plan that is based on natural horsemship practices.

People receive as much attention as our horses. We embrace applicants with horsemanship skills at all levels and work with interested parties to ensure readiness for ownership. The needs and abilities of both adopter and horse are matched to afford the greatest chance for an enduring partnership.
