Since 1991 The Texas Opry has brought entertainment to Weatherford from local and regional talent to big names from Nashville and Branson. We have presented Country music, Gospel music, Oldies Rock-n-Roll Shows, and Comedy. We have always produced good clean family style shows that the entire family can enjoy together in a clean, comfortable, non-smoking environment.With the sponsorship of the Weatherford Community and Merchants we will continue to bring the kind of entertainment you wish to see.
The Texas Opry Theater seats 475, the stage measures 25' x 35'. The Opry hosts a Gospel Show is the second Friday each month, featuring a variety of Christian music. Different Opry stars appear each month, the Opry plays hosts to live theater as well. Snack bar is available at every performance. A hospitality room, green room, and plenty of dressing rooms. The Theater is located one block off the historic Weatherford town square. The Opry is available for rental and offers several meeting spaces
