Ikebana International Dallas Chapter13 was one of the first U.S. Chapters formed and accepted as a member in Ikebana International. It is just one of the more than 165 chapters from over 60 contries and areas worldwide.

Members take classes and participate in workshops in one or more of the numerous schools of ikebana. Many of our members are certified as teachers in their respective schools, and most of our members are actively taking classes, some aspiring to become teacher-certified.

Dallas Chapter 13 is a non-profit, IRC section 501(c)(3) organization. As such, donations are tax-deductible to the extenct of the law. Our international motto is "Friendship through Flowers."

Meetings are generally the 3rd Thursday of each month, September through May. 9:30 a.m. registration and social time; 10 a.m. business meeting, followed by the program (generally ending around 12:30 p.m.) Workshops (generallly 2 per year) end around 3 p.m.

Most, though not all, members are currently studying or teaching in one of the many schools of ikebana. Some members are just interested in learning more about this beautiful art.
