Firehouse Pottery and Gallery - Fort Worth

A 1920s historical fire house turned pottery studio and gallery.

At The Firehouse the pottery studio and gallery is a place where the neighborhood owns the art. A place that does not quench the fire of creativity but instead ignites it.

The Firehouse is a unique and intimate studio where you can relax and enjoy the experience of the potters wheel with expert instruction from resident potter and Gallery owner, Keith Thomson. Keith was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with an honors degree in Ceramics.

All ages are welcome to participate in the creative process of clay using various techniques. This can be done in private, with friends or small groups, date night or create a piece of art for yourself.  Adjoining the studio space is a retail gallery space providing the opportunity to browse works created by Keith.

This includes a range of brightly colored, functional, stoneware pottery designed by Keith. Designed and influenced by mid century European forms and the color and utilitarian approach of Fiesta ware. The studio offers custom and wholesale services for individuals and business's.
