Known for years as Dallas' Reggae Ambassadors, this is a 10-piece tribe of great players from Jamaica, St. Croix, St. Kitts, Trinidad Afrika and the US, and a top headliner and performer at Reggae and World music festivals all over, having played across the states, Hawaii, Jamaica, Cancun, and...now Costa Rica and Belize are next stops.
Inspired, mentored and blessed by the great Wailer, Peter Tosh, Watusi has grown from a seed in Jamaica to have musical roots from all over the world, with a unique mix of Reggae, dancehall, soca, zouk, soukous and Afrikan riddims, Afrofunk, , plenty flavas with crucial lyrix and a One Love vibe...everytime!
