Sigma Alpha Iota - Dallas Alumnae Chapter

Sigma Alpha Iota is an international professional fraternity for women musicians. After being initiated into SAI, and graduating from college, members can become affiliated with an alumnae chapter. The Dallas Alumnae Chapter was founded in 1943 and has been an active supporter of music and musicians throughout the Dallas community since our founding. Members work as volunteers in the Music Department of the Dallas Public Library and serve as monitors at the DSO and Dallas Opera youth concerts. They also perform concerts for local retirement homes, and musicales at meetings. The group also fund several scholarships for local students and teachers, and support our members in their musical endeavors.
