Chestnut Square Historic Village is a collection of seven historic houses and buildings dating from the 1850's. It is the project of the Heritage Guild of Collin County, an all volunteer, non-profit organization, established in 1973.
The purpose of the Heritage Guild is
to preserve and perpetuate the memory and spirit of the early settlers of Collin County by preserving and maintaining historical property and effects of settlers and pioneers and
to enlighten the public regarding such matters.
