Dallas Theater Center Guild

The Dallas Theater Center Guild promotes community awareness of and interest in the Dallas Theater Center. The volunteers of the Guild support the Theater through education, service, social and fund- raising programs.

Founded as the Women's Committee in 1959, the Dallas Theater Center Guild builds on a long, proud history of dedicated service to the Theater Center. The Guild seeks to broaden its base of membership and support in the community, while increasing its assistance to the Theater.

As members of the Guild, individuals and couples join together to help bring outstanding theater to Dallas. Service and fund-raising projects for the Theater, outreach projects for the entire community and social events for the membership provide an array of volunteer opportunities. Members may choose those which best suit their talents and interests. A flexible meeting schedule makes it more convenient for professional people to participate in Guild activities.

Monies raised by the Dallas Theater Center Guild underwrite theater programs for physically and economically disadvantaged children and adults. They also fund special performances on a pay-what-you-can basis.
