Rhythm Junkies

The Rhythm Junkies, a non-profit tap dance company based in North Texas, is just as its name implies. The six-member company is hooked on rhythm and addicted to tap!

The Rhythm Junkies company mission is to serve as a community resource to create, promote and produce works of tap dance and to preserve historic works of tap dance. The group offered its first stage appearance at the 2001 National Tap Dance Day Celebration in Dallas. The Rhythm Junkies are very proud of their annual concert, "Everything On Tap." which takes place every spring at the Courtyard Theatre in Plano.

Company members include professional dancers and teachers from throughout the Metroplex. These obsessive-percussive dancers get their weekly "fixes" during rehearsals, where they create new works and perfect their repertory materials. Company members are Debra Bray, Gina Carrico, Ruthie Davis, Laura Price, Karen Osborn Stanford and Terry Wolter.
