DeSoto Art League
The DeSoto Art League is a group of artists and art lovers in an around DeSoto. Monthly meetings are on the second Saturday of the month (November and December may occur on different dates due to the holidays) at DeSoto Presbyterian Church, 212 W. Pleasant Run Road (one block west of Hampton Road) in DeSoto.
We have members who are beginners and members who are professionals--craftsmanship and artisanship blur the lines between fine art and craft--the more diverse the crowd, the better. The League is open to all interested persons.
The League also organizes two major art shows each year: a Member's Only show in the Winter and a Spring Show, which receives all family-friendly and original entries and is then judged and awards given. As resources allow, there is also a photography show.
