Cool Thursday Concert Series Returns to the Dallas Arboretum

Just in time for holiday shopping season, tickets to the Dallas Arboretum's 2014 Cool Thursday Concert Series will go on sale to the public, Dec. 2. Spring concerts begin April 10, 2014 with nationally acclaimed Bruce Springsteen tribute band, Bruce in the USA, and end with a patriotic concert by The Dallas Wind Symphony July 3. The Fall Series starts September 3 with local favorite, Emerald City, and wraps up October 30 featuring Thriller Night With Who's Bad, a Michael Jackson tribute band. Other favorite acts such as A Hard Night's Day, Le Freak and Asleep at the Wheel also perform on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage overlooking White Rock Lake.
Concert guests can bring their own picnic or purchase dinner from the popular food trucks such as Ruthie's Rolling Café, Cajun Tailgators, Easy Slider and So-Cal Tacos.
The Full Series season package includes 22 concerts and is $440 for nonmembers and $198 for members, more than a 50 percent savings. The Spring and Fall series may be purchased separately for $156 and $144 respectively. Arboretum members receive a discounted price for any package. For the best savings, tickets should be purchased early. If bought by December 15, they will be delivered in time for the holidays.
