Evenings on Oak Street is a free concert series located at Austin Street Plaza, 221 N. Oak St., in historic downtown Roanoke from March through October. The beautiful plaza area includes a covered stage, landscaped green space, picnic area, restrooms and parking area. Come join us for a relaxing Evening on Oak Street and dine at one of Roanoke's over 40 restaurants or shop at the unique shops!

September 12, Empty Pockets

Since the formation of Empty Pockets in 2003, the Band has emerged as one of the best Country Variety bands in Texas. With both male and female lead vocals, the band is known for entertaining crowds with its studio quality sound and excellent song selection. The playlist covers songs from Patsy Cline to Miranda Lambert and from George Strait to Blake Shelton - Top 40 Hits of Classic Country, New Country, Texas Country and Classic Rock - something for everyone.

Concerts are second and fourth Thursdays from 7 - 8 p.m., except as noted during Unique Week, April 8-11, when special concerts are from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m, and Celebrate ROANOKE, October 12!
